Obesity crisis 'cannot be solved by exercise alone'

This post is a summary about an article that I read in the guardian newspaper.

Obesity is an epidemic disease that has increased in the last years.
This article said that in all of the different countries and experts all over the world they recommend to do a lot of exercise for several hours a day in order to loss weight.
This part is very difficult for the people who have this disease because they could prefer to eat less.

Professor John Speakman of the energetic research group at Aberdeen University said that is more effective to reduce the calories that they consume, because if you reduced them in one third this is equivalent to exercising for around five hours a day and that is not possible., it is not real.

In a study that this doctor did, they found that people in the world is not becoming more sedentary this has been the same from about 25 years ago, from the other point or view obesity has risen in the last year as a result of eating more high-calorie food than exercising more not of doing less exercises.

John Speakman said that to recommend exercise is always a good idea because it is beneficial in a lot of aspects of life, for example it protects you against heart disease, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and high blood pressure. But if you want that your patients lose weight they will have to start with healthy eating and diets.

So if you want good health you have to combine both of them, eating well and do some sports.
